Reformed Church Latsch GR
The Reformed Church in Latsch in Grisons is an Evangelical - Reformed church under cantonal conservation . It is located in the middle of the lower village .
History and equipment
In 1154 there is evidence of an episcopal property in Latsch. The church under the patronage of St. Nicholas is first mentioned in 1523 . Latsch accepted the Reformation in 1590 and subsequently broke away from the Bergün mother church. In 1689 the neighboring Stugl was temporarily separated .
The high church tower with a one-storey bell house has a tent roof with a pointed helmet, while the nave is covered with a hipped roof.
Inside, the left-mounted dominated polygonal and sound capless pulpit which the separated by a saddle sheet from the church room chorus preceded. In the center of the choir is a baptismal table on which, according to the Reformed Graubünden tradition, the Lord's Supper is celebrated.
