Trochu cabinet
The Trouchu Cabinet was the first government of the French Third Republic . It was formed on September 4, 1870 as the Government of National Defense (Gouvernement de la Défense nationale) by Prime Minister Louis Jules Trochu . It remained in office until February 19, 1871 and was then replaced by the Dufaure I cabinet .
