Waddington Cabinet

William Henry Waddington

The Waddington Cabinet was formed by Prime Minister William Henry Waddington on February 4, 1879 during the French Third Republic and was in office for 320 days until December 21, 1879.

The January 30, 1879 President elected Jules Grévy did not want to Léon Gambetta appointed Prime Minister, the first government to form his presidency.
