Aristide Briand was Prime Minister of France six times from 1909 to 1911, 1913, 1915 to 1917, 1921 to 1922, 1925 to 1926 and 1929 and formed eleven cabinets during this time
The Briand V cabinet was a government of the French Third Republic . It was formed on October 29, 1915 by Prime Minister (Président du Conseil) Aristide Briand and replaced the Viviani II cabinet . It remained in office until December 12, 1916 and was then replaced by the Briand VI cabinet .
The cabinet included ministers from the Parti républicain-socialiste (PRS), Fédération républicaine (FR), Section française de l'Internationale ouvrière (SFIO) and the Action libérale populaire (ALP).
