Regina Jeske
Regina Jeske (born December 5, 1944 in Schneidemühl , Pomerania Province ) is a German actress .
Life
The daughter of an employee studied after high school and the Abitur from 1963 to 1967 at the Leipzig Theater Academy . A three-year engagement in Leipzig was followed by an engagement at the Staatstheater Dresden , to whose ensemble she belonged until summer 2010. On the stages of the GDR she was seen as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream , as Arkadina in The Seagull and as Marthe Rull in The Broken Jug . She is known to the television audience through three roles at the DFF in the series The Public Prosecutor Has Known the Word : The Leaded Glass Window (1983), I'll Never Betray You (1987) and Dancing In The Rain (1990). Regina Jeske also works as a voice actress and can also be seen on the Theaterkahn Dresden and in the Komödie Dresden .
Regina Jeske became a member of the NDPD in 1982 and was an NDPD member of the People's Chamber of the GDR from 1986 to 1990 .
She was married to the actor Achim Schmidtchen , who died in 1997 .
