Reginald Hanke

Reginald Hanke (born August 25, 1956 in Schwerin ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and master painter. He has been a member of the 19th German Bundestag since November 15, 2019 .

Life and work

In 1979, Hanke began training as a decorative painter , which he completed a master's degree. In 1985 he started his own painting business in Breternitz in the German Democratic Republic .

Since 2005, Hanke has been the chief master of the Saalfeld-Pößneck-Rudolstadt painters' guild and chairman of the southern industrial park in Saalfeld. From 2011 to 2016 he was the district master craftsman in the Saalfeld-Pößneck-Rudolstadt region.

Hanke joined the FDP in 2014. There he is a member of the Thuringian party council and the liberal middle class .

For the 2017 federal election, he ran in the Bundestag constituency of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt - Saale-Holzland-Kreis - Saale-Orla-Kreis and on the list of third place of the FDP Thuringia . After Thomas L. Kemmerich had been elected to the Thuringian state parliament as the top candidate of the FDP in the state elections in Thuringia 2019 , the latter resigned his parliamentary mandate on November 15, 2019 and Hanke moved up for him in the Bundestag. In the 19th German Bundestag he is a full member of the Sports Committee , the Petitions Committee and a deputy member of the Tourism Committee and the Regional Economic Policy and ERP Economic Plans subcommittee .

Private

Hanke is married and has two sons and a daughter. He has lived in Breternitz since 1979.
