Regine Sylvester
Regine Sylvester (born May 30, 1946 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and author.
Life
After graduating from high school, she studied theater studies from 1965 to 1970. She then worked as an assistant at the Potsdam-Babelsberg Film Academy . After a brief employment at the Academy of Arts in Berlin from 1981–82 , she worked as a freelance journalist and writer for film and television.
In 1992 she became deputy editor-in-chief of the Wochenpost newspaper , and in 1995 took over the management of Stern's Berlin office . 1996–2009 she was the chief editor of the Berliner Zeitung and also worked as a writer for channels on ARD and ZDF .
