Zumpango region
The Zumpango region , also Región XVI , is one of the 16 planning regions in the Mexican state of México . Located in the north of the state, it extends 75 kilometers from northwest to southeast and 40 kilometers from southwest to northeast over an area of 8,305 square kilometers. It consists of seven municipalities of the Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México , the population is 331,857 (2010 census).
