Regula Aebi

Regula Aebi , Anliker since 1991 (born November 12, 1965 ) is a former Swiss sprinter .

In 1988 she did without a start at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Budapest in the semi-finals. At the Olympic Games in Seoul , she reached the semifinals over this distance.

The following year, she won the silver medal over 200 m at the European Indoor Championships in 1989 in The Hague.

In 1990 she retired at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow over 200 m in the semi-finals and was sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in Split .

In 1992 she reached the semi-finals again over 200 at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa .

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 , she was eliminated in the 100 m in the quarter-finals, over 200 m in the semifinals and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run. With a 4 x 400 meter relay she came in sixth place.

She was Swiss champion over 200 m six times (1988-1992, 1994) and once over 100 m (1989).

Regula Aebi was trained by Stephan Anliker , whom she later married. The couple has two children.
