Reiner Hollich (born November 11, 1955 in Mannheim ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

Reiner Hollich played at SV Waldhof Mannheim from 1975 to 1978 . He played a total of 22 games in the 2nd Bundesliga South and one cup game. From there he moved to SV Sandhausen in 1978 , and other stations as a player were SV 98 Schwetzingen and ASV Feudenheim .

As a coach, Hollich returned in 1988 to the Alsenweg for SV Waldhof as an amateur coach. Hollich held this office until 1994. He then continued to work as a trainer and assistant trainer in the region. He led SG Oftersheim from the Verbandsliga to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , and he did the same in 2003 with TSG Weinheim . His former teammate Günter Sebert brought Hollich back to SV Waldhof. For the 2009/10 season Hollich took over the amateurs of SV Waldhof from Walter Pradt . After Walter Pradt's contract as coach of Waldhof Mannheim was not renewed after the 2009/10 season, Reiner Hollich took over the first team of SV Waldhof. In his first season as head coach of SV Waldhof, Reiner Hollich won the championship title in the Oberliga BW and thus promoted to the regional league. After Hollich was informed on April 2, 2013 that the sporting director Günter Sebert had been released from his position at SV Waldhof with immediate effect, he also asked for his immediate release as head coach of the Waldhöfer. In 2014 he was again a coach at TSG Weinheim . From March 2015 Hollich was coach of VfB Gartenstadt in the regional league Rhein-Neckar . He led the club in the 2016/17 season for promotion to the Baden Association League . In September 2017 he left the club. He has been training the SV Waldhof Mannheim U-19 team since mid-2018.
