Reinerzau is a district of Alpirsbach in the Black Forest of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

The village is located in the valley of the Kleine Kinzig or Reinerzau, between Schenkenzell and Freudenstadt . It is a typical Black Forest scattered settlement over a length of 7 km, where the main settlement areas of Upper and Lower Villages have crystallized to this day.

history

Reinerzau was first mentioned in 1254.

On April 1, 1974 Reinerzau was incorporated into Alpirsbach.

Infrastructure and tourism

Reinerzau has long been valued as a resort for its seclusion and clean air. There are or were, among other things, two health clinics , numerous private landlords and a few inns. The water path leads along the Kleine Kinzig dam . The dam can be visited in groups. The Silbersee is an idyllic swimming lake with a waterfall and barbecue area. The village's church is in the Unterdörfle. There is a ski lift on site.
