Reinhard Bein

Reinhard Bein (* 1941 in Guben ) is a German historian , high school teacher and non-fiction author . His specialty is the history of the Jews in the city and country of Braunschweig .

Life

Reinhard Bein graduated from the Kranich-Gymnasium Salzgitter in 1961 with the Abitur. He studied at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and had been a teacher at a secondary school in Helmstedt since 1967 . He then completed postgraduate studies at the Technical University of Braunschweig , which he completed with the state examination for teaching at grammar schools. From 1975 to 2005 he was a teacher of German and history at the Braunschweiger Gymnasium Neue Oberschule .

Reinhard Bein co-founded the Braunschweig Working Group Other History in 1985 and was its chairman.
