Reinhard Diedrich Cremer
Reinhard Diedrich Cremer (born March 26, 1821 in Norden (East Friesland) , † August 14, 1884 in Greiz ) was a German merchant .
Life
Cremer was a businessman at H. & R. Cremer in Hamburg and Lima . From 1861 to 1864 he acted as a tax appraiser in Hamburg and from 1864 to 1866 he was a member of the deputation for trade and shipping. Cremer was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1859 to 1871 and 1878 to 1884 . From 1862 to 1871 and 1880 to 1884 he was a member of the citizens' committee . Cremer was against the admission of Hamburg to the customs area of the German Reich and voted against the corresponding motion of the Senate at the citizenship meeting on June 15, 1881 .
