Reinhard Diedrich Cremer (born March 26, 1821 in Norden (East Friesland) , † August 14, 1884 in Greiz ) was a German merchant .

Life

Cremer was a businessman at H. & R. Cremer in Hamburg and Lima . From 1861 to 1864 he acted as a tax appraiser in Hamburg and from 1864 to 1866 he was a member of the deputation for trade and shipping. Cremer was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1859 to 1871 and 1878 to 1884 . From 1862 to 1871 and 1880 to 1884 he was a member of the citizens' committee . Cremer was against the admission of Hamburg to the customs area of ​​the German Reich and voted against the corresponding motion of the Senate at the citizenship meeting on June 15, 1881 .
