Reinhard Groeper

Reinhard Gröper (born February 23, 1929 in Bunzlau , Silesia) is a German writer . The name is the pseudonym of Egbert-Hans Müller.

Life

youth

In 1933, after the political dismissal of the father (librarian), the family moved to Leipzig and in 1935 to Stuttgart , where the father was again employed. Gröper grew up in Fellbach and Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, went with his secondary school to the children's country deportation to Rottweil in 1943 , experienced the end of the war as a war volunteer. He then completed a year and a half construction internship, after which he returned to school. He studied law in Tübingen.

Professional activities and memberships

After two state exams, he joined the cultural administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1959, initially worked at the Tübingen High School Authority, from 1963 in the responsible ministry, there in the art department as a consultant for art schools and music funding, later for art collections and the visual arts as deputy head of the department and with a focus on literature funding. He was u. a. Representative of the federal states on the board of trustees of the German Academy for Language and Poetry Darmstadt , member of the committee of the German Schiller Society , of the board of trustees of the Institute for German Language in Mannheim, board member of the Calwer Hermann-Hesse Foundation, co-initiator of today's Südwestrundfunk and the state of Baden- Wuerttemberg-borne Peter Huchel Prize and there, as a representative of the Ministry (without vote), jury member 1984 - 1994, initiator of the Baden-Wuerttemberg and Saxon-Baden-Wuerttemberg Literature Days and after reunification advised the art department in the responsible ministry of Free State of Saxony. From 1973 to 1982 he was honorary chairman of the Swabian regional association of the German Youth Hostel Association. He is a senior ministerial advisor. D. From 1997 to 2002 he was jury spokesman (chairman) of the German Schiller Foundation from 1859 in Weimar, the oldest German institution for the promotion of writers. a.
