Reinhold Tüxen Prize
The Reinhold Tüxen Prize is an international science award . It has been awarded by the city of Rinteln since 1987 in memory of its honorary citizen Reinhold Tüxen , the spiritual father of plant sociology in Germany. The Tüxen Prize is endowed with 5000 euros and is the only science prize in the world that is awarded exclusively for significant achievements in research and practice in the field of vegetation science.
