Reinhold Friedrich
Reinhold Friedrich (born July 14, 1958 in Weingarten , Baden) is a German trumpeter and university teacher in Karlsruhe .
Career
Reinhold Friedrich was solo trumpeter with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1983 to 1999 . In 1986 he won a prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich. Since 1989 he has been professor for trumpet at the State University of Music in Karlsruhe. As a specialty, Reinhold Friedrich has mastered playing the keyed trumpet , for which he made various recordings. Friedrich also cultivates the playing of historical baroque trumpets and teaches trumpet playing in the sense of historical performance practice .
