Riegner & Friedrich

Riegner & Friedrich was an organ workshop in Hohenpeißenberg , the remarkable in the 1980s and 1990s in southern Germany organs newly built and has numerous restored. The company was founded in 1984 by Günter Riegner and Reinhold Friedrich.

The company founders

Günter Riegner (born November 19, 1951 in Harlingerode ; † May 16, 1995 in Munich ) learned organ building from Hans-Heinz Blöß in Oker and then worked for Emil Hammer organ building , Georg Jann and Josef Garhammer . After his master's examination in 1981, he started his own business in Bavaria and worked for a time as a freelance voicer in Canada .

Reinhold Friedrich (* 1951 in Munich ) learned from Guido Nenninger , WRK organ building and Georg Jann . In 1983 he became a master organ builder. At Riegner & Friedrich he was responsible for the design and construction of the organs.
