Reinhold Grohmann
Reinhold Grohmann (born October 12, 1877 in Berlin ; † June 27, 1915 there ) was a German painter.
Reinhold Grohmann, son of the engraver Wilhelm Grohmann , studied from 1898 to 1905 at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, then at the Académie Julian in Paris and from 1907 as a student of Arthur Kampf and Louis Tuaillon in Berlin. He went on study trips to Holland , Belgium , France , Italy and Tunisia . In 1906 and 1907 he stayed at the Villa Strohl-Fern in Rome . In the period from 1903 to 1915 he took part in the Great Berlin Art Exhibition . He died at the age of 38.
In addition to genre pictures, interiors and urban landscapes, he mainly painted military scenes.
Reinhold Grohmann was the uncle of the architect Hans Wolff-Grohmann .
