Reinhold Klaus (born May 17, 1881 in Warnsdorf , Bohemia ; † November 4, 1963 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs , Lower Austria ) was an Austrian painter, graphic artist and stained glass painter.

Klaus came from a German-Bohemian family, his father was a weaver. In Warnsdorf he attended the Volks-Bürger- und Webschule. Then he received a state scholarship to visit the arts and crafts school in Vienna for four years , where he received a state award and made a trip to Italy. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna , Klaus worked as a draftsman for glass painting and mosaics in Vienna, married into the Geyling family of glass painters and became the company's artistic director. His son, Wolfgang H. Klaus became managing director in 1947 and sole owner of the company in 1956.

Reinhold Klaus was appointed professor at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. He created numerous church windows (mostly outside Vienna), as well as woodcuts, tapestries, oil paintings and wall paintings. In the Third Reich he also worked for the Nazi regime. So he painted a painting for the town hall hall of Waidhofen an der Ybbs , on which the "creating and celebrating Waidhofen" is shown. The Soviet occupation forces had all the National Socialist symbols on the work painted over. Klaus was awarded the Austrian State Prize, Prize of the City of Vienna and the Golden Laurel of the Künstlerhaus.
