Reinhold Latzke

Reinhold Latzke (* 26. October 1932 in Mühlheim am Main , † thirtieth March 2009 ) was a German politician of the SPD .

Life

Latzke joined the SPD in 1955. From 1964 to 2003 he was city ​​councilor of Mühlheim am Main, from 1970 onwards as parliamentary group chairman . He was then appointed honorary parliamentary group leader by his party and awarded the party's highest honor, the Willy Brandt Medal .

In addition, he was a member of the supervisory board of the local municipal utilities and for 32 years administrative director of the municipal clinics in Offenbach am Main. As a longstanding member of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Langen-Seligenstadt , he was awarded the Sparkasse Medal in 2001.

In 1989 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit. The city of Offenbach am Main awarded him the plaque of honor in 1998 and the city of Mühlheim am Main made him an honorary citizen . Most recently, he was a founding member and chairman of the association for the Offenbach Clinic.
