Roland Siegers

Roland Siegers ( Reinhold Siegers ) alias Roy Winner (born October 2, 1952 in Verviers , Belgium ) is a game designer .

Growing up in Eupen , he invented his first board game in 1963. In 1981 his first game sequence was published by Bütehorn . His game Uisge , published by Hexagames in 1984 , received the Game of the Year special prize "Beautiful Game". From 1985 Siegers worked for the game publishers Hexagames and Flying Turtle , at Mattel he was responsible for building up the German line of authors. From 1991 Siegers was head of product development at Schmidt Spiele . After Schmidt Spiele went bankrupt, the trained businessman founded the games publisher Relaxx together with Frank G. Hegewald in 1998 , which, however, had to file for bankruptcy the following year.
