Reitern is a town in the Bad Goisern community on Lake Hallstatt in Upper Austria .
The village in the Traunviertel is part of the Inner Salzkammergut and belongs to the Gmunden district . It is located southeast of Bad Goisern. On January 1st, 2020 there were 384 inhabitants in Reitern.
