Remigius Bunia

Remigius Bunia (* 1977 in Wodzisław Śląski ) is a German comparator , entrepreneur and author.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1996, Bunia studied modern German literature , mediaeval studies , linguistics and mathematics at the University of Bonn from 1997 to 2002 and German studies at the Sorbonne in Paris in 1999/2000 . In 2002 he received his diploma as a mathematician and a Magister Artium (literary studies). He received his doctorate in 2006 from the University of Siegen . From 2006 to 2009 he worked at the universities in Siegen, Bonn and Mainz as well as at the Zeppelin University . From 2009 to 2015 he held a junior professorship at the Free University. He held visiting professorships and lectureships at the Université de Montréal , the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris) and the Universidade de São Paulo . Until the summer semester 2013, he was Managing Director of the Peter Szondi Institute. After completing his university career, he founded various companies and began a teaching traineeship in German and mathematics at a grammar school in Berlin-Grunewald. In 2018 he led seminars for the real estate industry, in 2019 he joined the preparatory service for the senior foreign service.

Bunia publishes in the daily press and in Merkur on scientific and socio-political topics . Bunia is the former chairman of the board of the Deutsche Gesellschaft Juniorprofessur .

research

Bunia's main research interests are fiction theory , romanticism research and research into quotations . Another focus is the investigation of the relationship between literary studies on the one hand and natural science, mathematics and law on the other.
