action
The Kulkus, a species of alien similar to humans, have contracted a deadly virus. They enter Earth orbit through a wormhole that will close again in the foreseeable future . With their devastating weapon they attack the earth and claim many lives. The Kulkus have discovered that human blood is the healing serum to fight their viral disease.
In order to avert greater damage to the earth, the mighty powers of the world are negotiating with the Kulku ambassador. The Kulkus demand eight million people. Every country now has to meet a certain quota of human sacrifices, which is determined by a draw. The US only met its quota of 800,000 people with 500,000. To speed this up, the Kulku ambassador sends Commander Kor to Earth.
The scientist Dr. Stephen Chase finds out his daughter Heather is also on the list. He escapes with her from the soldiers who are tracking down the lot. But the military can catch Heather and take her to a camp. There the Kulkus discover that because of an abnormality , Heather's blood is worth a multiple of a normal sacrifice, and they take her to a special isolation wing. Meanwhile, Stephen wants to trade in for his daughter, but is refused. At the same time, resistance fighters storm the camp and free the prisoners. Stephen sneaks into the truck that is taking them to the Canadian border . However, his daughter is not there.
He meets the resistance fighters Alex and Blair and makes them an offer. He'll get them Kulku technology from a spaceship that crashed 50 years ago when they free his daughter. Leon Royce is tasked with it. Stephen breaks into the research center and steals a devastating weapon. Heather is released as agreed. When they are in each other's arms, Kulkus suddenly appear and arrest them again. This makes it clear that there must be a traitor among the resistance fighters.
Stephen, Blair, Alex and Leon drive to a radio telescope to be used as a weapon in conjunction with the Kulku technology and to destroy the Kulku weapon in orbit. But the aliens attack them. Blair exposes Leon as a traitor and kills him. The Kulku weapon is destroyed. Stephen can kill Commander Kor and the ambassador and free Heather.
criticism
“The TV action produced in Bulgaria tries to make the most of the various budget constraints. For Robert Stadd, specialist in visual effects (' Collateral ', ' Ali ', ' The Crow ') it was the directorial debut. "
