René Aguigah (* 1974 in Würzburg ) is a German cultural journalist and presenter .

Life

Aguigah, son of a German and a Togolese , studied history , philosophy and journalism in Bochum and Dortmund . He gained his first experience in practical journalism while doing an internship at Thüringer Allgemeine . He worked for this newspaper in Erfurt and Weimar . Since 1996 he has been writing as a cultural journalist for newspapers such as taz , FAZ and Frankfurter Rundschau . René Aguigah worked for WDR 3 between 2002 and 2005 as editor and presenter, including for the programs Kritisches Tagebuch and Gutenbergs Welt . From 2005 to 2009 he was editor of the monthly cultural magazine Literaturen . René Aguigah has been head of the Culture and Society department of Deutschlandradio Kultur since 2010 . René Aguigah has been a member of the jury for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize since 2013 . Aguigah lives in Berlin.
