René Felix (born June 23, 1990 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker .
Career
Youth and amateur football
Felix began his active career as a soccer player at KSV Ankerbrot Montelaa , a soccer club from the 10th Viennese district of Favoriten . He later moved to the Favoritner AC , which he left in 2004 to go to the Frank Stronach Academy in Hollabrunn . In the 2007/08 season, Felix completed 17 games in the U-19 youth league and scored three goals. After passing the Matura , Felix also left the academy. At the FSA he was twice a master; the first time with the U-15 team, the second time with the U-17 team.
Club career
His professional career began when he joined FK Austria Wien in January 2008, while still at school, in the second-class first division . For the violets he made his professional debut on March 21, 2008 in the away game against SV Bad Aussee , when he came on for Christian Haselberger in the 89th minute . The game ended in a 2-2 draw after Austrian Philipp Netzer headed to equalize in the 90th minute of the game. For the summer break before the 2008/09 season , Felix moved to SC Magna Wiener Neustadt in the league after playing for the Austria Amateurs in nine championship games and scoring one goal. Although he trained with the team in Wiener Neustadt , he was never used. At the beginning of 2009, Felix switched to the third-class Regionalliga Ost as a cooperation player for SV Wienerberg, where he made 25 appearances. For the winter break of the 2009/10 season he returned to SC Magna Wiener Neustadt.
In summer 2010 he was awarded as a cooperation player at the Vienna Sports Club .
In summer 2012 he moved to FC Lustenau . In January 2013 he switched to league competitor SKN St. Pölten . His contract expired in the summer of 2013 and he moved to the amateur club SR Donaufeld in January 2015 . In summer 2015 he switched to the professional club Floridsdorfer AC . He left the FAC after the 2015/16 season.
