René Paul Martial Queyroux (born December 22, 1927 in Halluin , † August 10, 2002 in Lyon ) was a French fencer .
successes
René Queyroux was vice world champion with the team in Rome in 1955 and in Gdansk in 1963 . In the team competition he also won bronze in Philadelphia in 1958 and in Budapest in 1959 . At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he reached the final round with the French team, which they finished in third place behind Italy and Hungary and in front of the British team. Together with Yves Dreyfus , Daniel Dagallier , Armand Mouyal and Claude Nigon , Queyroux received the bronze medal. He finished the individual competition in sixth place.
