The Renafan Group ( spelling : RENAFAN ) is a German company in the areas of care for the elderly, outpatient intensive care, assistance and service for people with disabilities and transport services, which is mainly active in Germany but also in Austria and China. The company headquarters is located in the former wage offices and casinos of the Borsig -Werke in Berlin-Tegel .

history

Renafan was founded in 1995 by Shaodong Fan and Renate Günther in Berlin-Tegel . Günther worked as a nursing manager in an outpatient nursing station in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, where he met the graduate physicist Fan. The company name Rena-Fan emerged from the names of the two founders .

The company now has 72 locations. The current locations include facilities in Berlin , Brandenburg ad Havel , Bremen , Frankfurt a. M. , Hamburg , Hanover , Upper Bavaria, Magdeburg , Munich , Rostock , Stralsund , Schleswig-Holstein , Ulm . In September 2016, Renafan also started working outside of Germany and took over the “Care-with-Heart” group based in Pirka near Graz , which operates six care homes in Styria . The group provides 400 places for the care and support of the elderly and people with disabilities. At its locations between Peggau and Wettmannstätten , “Pflege mit Herz” employs around 350 people.

Investments are also being made in the home country of the company's founder, Fan, currently in Yantai . Chinese specialists are to be trained in China and recruited for the German market.

The Renafan Group currently employs more than 4000 people and supplies over 6000 customers. From 2015 to 2019, sales increased from around 80 to around 167 million euros. In 2010 it was 52 million euros. Since 2017 there has also been a vocational school for geriatric care at the headquarters in Berlin-Tegel in order to generate staff. The Renafan Academy has been responsible for the training of its own employees since 2002, but is now also aimed at employees of other care providers.
