The Renault Nepta was presented as a concept vehicle at the Mondial de l'Automobile 2006. This cabriolet , 4995 mm long, 1956 mm wide and 1332 mm high, is intended to offer a glimpse into the future design of Renault . The vehicle was designed by Renault's chief designer Patrick le Quément .
technology
The headlights of the Nepta work with LED technology and have active cornering lights. The Nepta has 3.76 m long double doors that can be opened and closed by an electric motor at the push of a button. There are four individual seats in the interior. Flat screens with which DVD films can be viewed are also installed in the backrests of the front seats.

The design study uses a V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine with a displacement of 3.5 liters and an output of 309 kW (420 hp). The maximum torque of 560 Nm is reached at 3,000 rpm. With the 7-speed automatic, the Nepta accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds. The consumption is around 9.4 liters per 100 km. (222 g Co 2 per km)
