engine

The Mégane Concept is powered by a 2.0 liter turbo engine with 200 hp, which should produce 280 Nm at 2,600 revolutions per minute. A manual six-speed gearshift transfers the power to the 21-inch seven-star wheels. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h should (according to the manufacturer) take place in 7.2 seconds. In order to protect the environment, new filters have been installed that emit just 154 g / km Co².

innovation

Rear view

The headlights consist of LED -Reihen with high and low beam diodes. The fog lights serve as daytime running lights. Two dragonfly wing doors reveal the interior. In the interior itself there are two asymmetrical front seats that are attached to the side skirts. The driver finds instruments that are similar to airplane fittings. The speedometer and rev counter are black with white numbers and red illumination. In the middle of the fitting there is a three-part monitor. The navigation system , radio or telephone can be operated in the middle part . The outer parts provide the images from the exterior mirror cameras. The highlight of the Mégane Coupé Concept is that the car is opened and closed using a Samsung F700 mobile phone . This mobile phone also takes over the "Keycard Handsfree System" for starting the car.
