Renzo Pozzi , full name Renzo Daniel Pozzi Palombo , (born October 12, 1984 in Tacuarembó ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.75 meter tall midfielder Pozzi has been in the squad of the then first division club Tacuarembó FC at least since the Clausura 2008 . For the Northern Uruguayans he then played 58 games in the Primera División by the end of the 2009/10 season , in which he scored five goals. He was also used in four matches of the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores and scored once. He then moved to Montevideo to Liverpool Montevideo for the 2010/11 season . There he was used 23 times in the top Uruguayan league in the first season. His goals account showed two hits. He also played in one game in the Copa Libertadores . In the 2011/12 season, however, he only played 15 league games (no goal). In the 2012/13 season he was in Progreso's ranks . There are 22 premier league appearances for Pozzi. He didn't score a goal. In the 2013/14 season he joined Juventud and subsequently played 20 league games for the club from Las Piedras . In doing so, he scored a hit. He then moved in July 2014 to league rivals and reigning Uruguayan champions Danubio . There he was used seven times (no goal) in the Primera División and once (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores in the 2014/15 season . In the second half of July 2015, he rejoined Juventud. In his second station, he completed five first division matches (no goal) and two games (no goal) in the 2015/16 Copa Sudamericana in the 2015/16 season .

National team

Pozzi was part of the Uruguayan U-17 team coached by Juan Jacinto Rodríguez , who took part in the U-17 South American Championship in Peru in 2001 and finished in 6th place.
