content

After 25 years in exile, the Iraqi film director Abbas Fahdel is returning to his country. In Babylon , his hometown, he visits his old friends again, inquires about their lives and wonders what would have become of his own life had he not emigrated. Through these personal encounters, the painful history of the last twenty years and the difficult situation of Iraq come to light: a country that still feels the tragic consequences of the embargo , the war against Iran and the Gulf War in everyday life.
