action

Commissioner Richard Lenders is investigating a murder case. He met a team of particle physicists who were supposed to help him decipher the complex formulas that were found on the dead man. When Lenders and his colleague come across an implanted chip in the victim's head during the autopsy, they are confronted with the absurd possibility that the dead person may have come from another time. Another murder occurs that seems to follow a similar pattern.

Reviews

  • "His gloomy, hypothermic images are impressive. They are captivating to this film. At the same time, there is always a certain melancholy permeating the film through them, and on the other hand the images come closer to the actual core of the film, which is genre film, but always at the same time a mind game on the subject of time travel and the question of whether it makes sense to change the past at all. This stylishly staged movie is definitely worth a look, because it not only offers a lot of friction, but also shows how to do it In the last few years, too, it has increasingly been possible to ascertain that German genre cinema is finally moving again. " (BeNow, Ron Jäger)
  • "An ambitious attempt to link genre conventions with fantastic elements is" Rewind: The Second Chance "without question, but only partially successful as a convincing genre film." (Programmkino.de, Michael Meyns)
