RheinVokal
RheinVokal - Festival am Mittelrhein is an international festival for vocal music. It has been held annually since 2005 in the Middle Rhine region between Bingen and Remagen . Soloists and ensembles perform in important historical venues in the region between June and August. The focus of around 20 concerts is the human voice with all its facets. In addition to live broadcasts, Südwestrundfunk records numerous concerts that are broadcast in a RheinVokal radio week in the second half of the year.
The shareholders of the non-profit GmbH are the Landesstiftung Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz (for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate ), the Südwestrundfunk and the association of RheinVokal-Kommunen. Ensemble in Residence is the SWR Vocal Ensemble Stuttgart.
