The Rhesos Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Резос lednik Resos ) is a 7 km long and 2.5 km wide glacier on the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows southeast of Paris Peak from the eastern slopes of the Trojan Range in a northeast direction to Fournier Bay , which it reaches south of the Thompson Peninsula and north of Predel Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the Thracian king Rhesus from the Iliad after Homer .
