Tatiana Kirillowna Sadowskaja ( Russian Татьяна Кирилловна Садовская ; born April 3, 1966 in Samara , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet foil fencer .

successes

Tatjana Sadovskaya won three silver medals with the team at world championships: 1989 in Denver , 1990 in Lyon and 1991 in Budapest . In 1991, she also won the bronze medal in singles. She took part in the Olympic Games twice. In 1988 she finished fifth in the individual competition in Seoul , with the team she narrowly missed winning a medal in fourth. In the battle for bronze, the Soviet team lost to Hungary 2: 9. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona she was part of the delegation of the United Team , with whose foil team she was fourth again, this time behind Romania . In the individual she lost in the semifinals to the later Olympic champion Giovanna Trillini , but prevailed in the subsequent battle for bronze against Laurence Modaine-Cessac and was third.
