Richard Anthony (2006)

Richard Anthony (* 13. January 1938 as Richard Btesh in Cairo ; † 20th April 2015 in Pégomas , Alpes-Maritimes ) was a French singer . He was the first French to record rock 'n' roll albums. In this genre he was Johnny Hallyday's only serious competitor in France .

Live and act

In Germany he only got two smaller hits. In 1964 the track “Cin Cin” reached number 18 in the singles charts, in 1975 “In love with your own wife” landed at number 48.

It has been estimated that 50 million records and CDs of his songs have been sold.
