Richard Appora
Bertrand Guy Richard Appora-Ngalanibé OP (born April 3, 1972 in Bangui , Central African Republic ) is a Central African religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Bambari .
Life
Richard Appora joined the Dominican Order , made perpetual profession in 2001 and was ordained a priest on November 1, 2004 .
Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Bambari on December 10, 2016 . The Archbishop of Bangui , Cardinal Dieudonné Nzapalainga CSSp , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25 of the following year .
With the death of Diocesan Bishop Edouard Mathos on April 28, 2017, he succeeded him in office.
