Richard Boczkowski (born May 18, 1953 in Schwarzenofen , Poland ) is a former German national handball player . During his active time he played at the circle .

Career

Richard Boczkowski won the district's best student team with the SG Rechtenbach. He later played in the handball Bundesliga at TV Hüttenberg and at TuS Nettelstedt .

From 1974 to 1978 he scored 27 goals in 29 international matches for Germany . He played his first international game on October 27, 1974 in Möhlin against Switzerland . In 1978 he was in the national team that later became world champion .

Although he only took part as a substitute player in the World Cup and was not used, he not only received the world championship title, like all other team members, but also the silver laurel leaf.

Trainer

In 1986 he was coach of the A-youth of the TV Lützellinden , with whom he was North Hesse champion (master of the Oberliga Nord).

Boczkowski works as an administrative clerk at the city of Wetzlar.
