Richard Borgmann

Richard Borgmann (born August 26, 1909 in Dortmund ; † July 22, 1966 in Ibbenbüren ) was a German entrepreneur , local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

After attending school, Borgmann studied and obtained his doctorate as Dr. phil. He was teacher and producer . In 1946 he was one of the founders of the CDU in the Tecklenburg district.

From 1952 to 1956 he held the office of a city councilor in Ibbenbüren . He became a member of the district council of the then Tecklenburg district and district administrator in 1956 and remained so until his death on July 22, 1966. His successor as district administrator was Laurenz Börgel .

From 1953 to 1966 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the regional association Westphalia-Lippe . Borgmann also held various positions in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1961 he was elected a full member of the Historical Commission for Westphalia .

The grave of the married couple Anneliese and Richard Borgmann is in the Ibbenbüren central cemetery .
