Richard Hackenberg

Richard Hackenberg (born July 8, 1909 in Niederlindewiese ; † June 12, 1995 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After finishing school and completing his apprenticeship, Richard Hackenberg was trained as a social worker and worked in this profession until 1940. This activity was followed by military service and imprisonment. After his release in 1948, he returned to social work. In the 1950s he ran a home for displaced young workers in the house of the Catholic Volksarbeit at Unterweg 10 in Frankfurt am Main. politics

Richard Hackenberg became a member of the CDU after the war and worked there in various party offices. Among other things, he was district chairman of the CDU West Hesse.

From the beginning of the third electoral term on December 1, 1954 until the end of the seventh electoral term on November 30, 1974, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament.

In 1959 he was a member of the third federal assembly .

Other offices

Richard Hackenberg was involved in Catholic social work. He was also state chairman of the Sudeten German Catholic Ackermann community . In 1973 Hackenberg also became chairman of the refugee council of the German Bishops' Conference.
