Richard Idoine (born November 21, 1990 ) is a retired New Zealand ice hockey player who played his entire career with Botany Swarm in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League .

Career

Richard Idoine has been playing with Botany Swarm since the beginning of his career as a hockey player , for whom he made his debut in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League in the 2006 season at the age of 15 . With the team from Auckland he was New Zealand national champion in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. In 2013 he ended his career at the age of just 23.

International

In the junior division, Idoine was on the ice for New Zealand at the U18 World Championships in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 and the U20 Juniors in 2007 and 2008 .

With the men's national team , the defender took part in the World Championships of Division III in 2009 and Division II in 2010 , 2011 and 2013 .
