Richard Kasper

Richard Kasper (born February 7, 1932 in Quadrath ; † November 25, 2019 in Kothingeichendorf ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. He received a scholarship at the Academy of Labor at the University of Frankfurt / Main. From 1958 he worked for the Mining and Energy Industrial Union as a youth and later as a legal protection secretary. Since 1954 he was a member of the SPD and since 1947 a member of the mining and energy industrial union . Kasper was married.

MP

From July 24, 1966 to May 28, 1980, Kasper was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 011 Bergheim. Kasper was a council member of the community of Quadrath-Ichendorf from 1960 to 1974. He was a member of the district council of the Bergheim (Erft) district from 1960 to 1979.

Public offices

From October 1964 to December 1974 he was district administrator of the Bergheim / Erft district and from 1962 to 1974 mayor of the community of Quadrath-Ichendorf.
