Heinrich Loevenich

Heinrich Loevenich (born February 20, 1896 in Frechen ; † December 12, 1965 ibid) was a Prussian administrative officer and district administrator in the district of Cologne and the district of Bergheim (Erft) .

Life

Origin and education

Heinrich Loevenich was the son of the building contractor Wilhelm Loevenich and Anna, geb. Thin forest. Following elementary school , he completed practical training with a view to later taking over his father's business. At the age of 19, he was called up for military service in 1915 during the First World War , from which he did not return home until 1919. In April of the same year he took up a position as a drawing teacher at the vocational school in his hometown. In 1921 he switched to the Rhenish Farmers' Association as an architect .

Career

Loevenich joined the NSDAP as early as 1926. From 1927 to 1937 he was their district leader in the Cologne district, from 1932 as a full-time Nazi functionary. From this position, after the National Socialists came to power on June 21, 1933, he was initially assigned the management of the district office of Cologne as a representative. His provisional appointment followed on November 17, 1933 and the definitive appointment on April 1, 1934 on March 23, 1934. From April 1, 1944, he also represented the Bergheim District Office. After the collapse , he was released in 1945.

The Catholic Heinrich Loevenich married Agnes Rüttgers on September 6, 1922 in Frechen (born November 20, 1900 in Frechen; † July 14, 1980 there).
