Max Nagel (politician, 1905)

Max Nagel (born June 5, 1905 in Niederdollendorf , † September 27, 1981 in Brühl ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Nagel studied law . He passed the first and second state exams and worked as a lawyer . He was married and had three children.

He was a member of the district council of the former district of Cologne from 1952 to 1956. From January 28, 1952 to November 16, 1956, he was district administrator of the district. He also served from 1947 to 1948 a member of the city council of the city of Brühl and mayor . His predecessor Joseph Hürten had to give up the office of mayor because the British occupation forces decreed that teachers were not allowed to hold a political mandate. Nagel was active in various committees of the district assembly of North Rhine-Westphalia .
