Otto Pieperbeck

Otto Josef Pieperbeck (born December 16, 1892 in Nideggen ; † June 19, 1965 in Cologne-Marienburg ) was a Prussian administrative officer , NSDAP member and district administrator of the Bergheim district (Erft) .

Life

Otto Pieperbeck was the son of cadastral inspector Johannes Pieperbeck and Maria, geb. Husener. After he left school with secondary school leaving certificate, Pieperbeck first went to sea as an officer. He took part in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 and, on his return in December 1920, joined the Düren city ​​administration , where he was promoted to city inspector in 1924. Due to his further activities for the NSDAP , disciplinary proceedings were initiated against Pieperbeck in 1930, as a result of which he was initially suspended from duty on September 1 and finally released on December 19, 1930. Returning to the public service, Pieperbeck became mayor of Stadtoldendorf near Hanover on February 1, 1932 . When the previous district administrator of the Bergheim district, Karl Sieger , left the service after the National Socialists came to power , Pieperbeck took over as his successor on May 2, 1933. After Sieger's formal departure in October 1933, then also provisionally. His service in Bergheim ended when he was recalled from office on October 16, 1934. Pieperbeck was most recently director of the Cologne City Insurance Office.
