Johann Grossmann

Johann Großmann (born June 27, 1895 in Quadrath ; † August 30, 1986 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and training, he passed the examination to become a clerk in 1912 and worked as a pensioner at Schloss Frens . Großmann did military service from 1914 to 1918. Activities in administration and business followed. From 1931 he was a commercial clerk at the Fortuna power plant . Since 1925 he was a member of the SPD. Since 1912 he was a union member, in 1946 he became a member of the mining industry union .

He was married and had two children.

From July 13, 1954 to July 21, 1958, Großmann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . The entry into the state parliament took place on the list place 29 of the reserve list.

From 1927 to 1933 he was a community representative in Oberaussem and from 1932 to 1933 a member of the district council of the Bergheim (Erft) district . He was a member of the district council again from 1946. From 1952 to 1964 he was a member of the official representation of the Bergheim office.

Public offices

From November 1948 to December 1952 he was district administrator for the Bergheim / Erft district and mayor from 1952 to 1964.
