Richard Nathschläger

Richard Nathschläger (born May 24, 1904 in Vienna ; † March 27, 1979 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), member of the Viennese state parliament and member of the municipal council as well as the city councilor.

Nathschläger studied at the University of World Trade in Vienna and became a dispatcher for the Austrian Alpine Mining Society in Vienna. From 1932 he was involved in the Union of Christian Workers and Employees and in 1937 he was an employee representative in the Viennese citizenship. After the National Socialists came to power, Nathschläger was dismissed and subsequently worked as an unskilled worker until 1939. He then became head of accounting at Petravic & Co. After the end of the war, Nathschläger was re-employed in the general management of the Austrian Alpine Mining Company.

Nathschläger was elected to the state parliament and municipal council of Vienna in 1945, to which he belonged until 1959. Between March 25, 1949 and September 29, 1950, he was Executive City Councilor for Economic Affairs and between September 29, 1950 and December 11, 1959, Executive City Councilor for Urban Enterprises. After his death, Nathschläger was buried in the Hietzingen cemetery .

Nathschläger was married from 1928 and had two sons (* 1930 and 1937).
