Heinrich Louis Richard Uffeln (born May 14, 1859 in Lübbecke ; † September 27, 1939 in Northeim ) was the mayor of Moringen (1890–1927).

Life

Richard Uffeln was born in Lübbecke in Westphalia in 1859 as the son of a chamberlain . After graduating from high school Marianum in Warburg , he studied law ; first few semesters at the University of Strasbourg , then at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , where he worked in the 1883 connection and later Holzminda fraternity entered. After graduating, he became mayor of Moringen on October 30, 1890 for 37 years. On January 3, 1905, he became an honorary member of the Moringen Brewery Guild . After he retired in 1927, he moved to Northeim, where he died in 1939.
