Richard Weihs (born October 6, 1956 in Wels ) is an Austrian author , musician and actor with a focus on Viennese dialect .

In 1979 Richard Weihs founded the Denzelgrund citizens' initiative in the Mariahilf district of Vienna , which campaigned for the establishment of a park. In 1982 he was one of the first green district councilors in Vienna. In 1986 the small, provisional park became the Alfred Grünwald Park .
